Each year, as the News Editor and podcast host for EU-Startups, I take an active moderating role at the EU-Startups Summit - one of Europe’s leading gatherings for founders, investors, and tech leaders. I host and moderate interviews, fireside chats, and panel discussions across both the main stage and side stages, depending on the programme for that edition. Through these sessions, I guide conversations with high-growth startup founders, VCs, and ecosystem experts, helping shape insightful on-stage discussions for an audience of over 2500 attendees from across the European startup landscape.
At the Valencia Digital Summit (VDS) 2025, I moderated two main-stage panels focused on the real-world impact of AI and data on business and society. In “Tech vs. The World: Founders Rewriting the Rules with AI and Data,” I led a discussion with leaders from PropHero and Luzia on how AI-driven products enable lean startups to scale and compete globally. Later, in “AI-Augmented Learning,” featuring Preply, I guided a conversation on personalised, data-driven education and the role of AI in building scalable, inclusive learning platforms for global audiences.
At How to Web Conference 2025, I moderated two startup-stage panels in my role as News Editor at EU-Startups, focusing on growth strategy and international expansion. In “Scaling too soon, scaling too fast,” I led a discussion with investors from Lead Ventures and Begin Capital on timing, investor readiness signals, and avoiding premature scale. In “Scaling to US,” I moderated a conversation with representatives from Dawn Capital and EBRD Venture Capital examining geopolitical considerations, cultural challenges, and strategic pathways for European startups expanding into the US market.
I have also served as a media judge at pitch competitions organised by Connect, contributing editorial insight and startup evaluation expertise.
I moderated the Youth Entrepreneurship Forum in Barcelona, leading a discussion with founders and early-stage operators on the realities of building a venture from the ground up. The session explored sector-specific challenges across HealthTech, Marketing, and PropTech, as well as practical guidance on media visibility and storytelling for startups. I moderated a 5-speaker panel featuring leaders including Juno House and Hooop, facilitating an open conversation tailored to students and aspiring entrepreneurs navigating their first steps in the ecosystem.
